The Preciplast factory for medical plastic components has an exceptional architectural quality compared to most industrial buildings. Flexibility of use – especially for the production area – was a decisive factor in the company’s investment decision. A layout that could be adapted in response to future market demands was essential. The roof of the factory space was made using Kielsteg elements with spans of 10 m. They rest on the walls and just one beam on the mid axis.
