Cookies

This website uses so-called cookies, which serve to make our internet presence generally more user-friendly, effective and more secure – for example by making navigation on our site faster. Cookies also enable us to measure the frequency of page impressions and how users navigate the site. Cookies are small text files that are stored in your computer’s system. Please note that some of these cookies are transferred from our server to your computer’s system; these are usually so-called “session cookies”. Session cookies are deleted from your hard drive at the end of the browser session. Other cookies remain on your computer and enable us to recognise your computer system at the next session (so-called persistent cookies). Naturally, you can refuse cookies at any time, if your browser allows this. Please note that certain functions of this website may be unavailable or only partly usable if your browser is set to reject cookies from our website.

In order to ensure the security of your data during transmission, we use state-of-the-art encryption methods (e.g. SSL) via HTTPS.

If you contact us by e-mail or via the contact form, the information you provide will be saved in order to process your query and in case of possible follow-up questions.

Deletion and/or blocking of data

We adhere to the principles of data avoidance and data minimization. We only save your personal data for as long as this is necessary for the purposes listed here or is required by the various statutory duties of record-keeping. When the purpose is no longer valid or these record-keeping periods have expired, the data are routinely deleted or blocked in accordance with the statutory regulations.

Data protection statement on the use of Google Analytics

This website uses Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google Inc. (“Google”). Google Analytics uses so-called “cookies”, text files that are stored on your computer and enable your use of the website to be analyzed. The information about your use of the website that is generated by means of the cookies is usually transmitted to a Google server in the USA and saved there. However, IP anonymization is activated on this website, and Google will abbreviate your IP address within member states of the European Union or in other treaty states of the treaty on the European Economic Area.

Only in exceptional cases will your full IP address be transmitted to a Google server in the USA and abbreviated there. On behalf of the operator of this website, Google will use this information to evaluate your use of the website, to generate reports on the use of the website and to provide other services related to the website and internet usage to the website operator. Google will not combine your IP address, as transmitted by your browser in connection with Google Analytics, with other data.

You can prevent the storage of cookies by choosing the appropriate settings of your browser software; however, please note that in this event you may not be able to use all the functions of this website to the full extent. You can also prevent the gathering by Google of the data produced by the cookie on your use of the website (including your IP address) and the processing of this data by Google, by downloading and installing the browser plugin provided under the following link: http://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=de.

In addition to or as an alternative to the browser add-on, you can inactivate tracking by Google Analytics on our website by clicking this link. This will install an opt-out cookie on your device. This will prevent the gathering of data by Google Analytics for this website in this browser, for as long as the cookie remains installed in your browser.

Use of Google Maps

This website uses Google Maps API in order to display geographical information in graphical form. In the course of using Google Maps, data about visitors’ usage of the maps function is gathered, processed and used. Further information about the data processing by Google is available in the Google data and privacy settings. In the data and privacy centre you can adjust your personal data settings.

Detailed instructions on how to manage your data in connection with Google products are available here. finden Sie hier.

Google AdWords

Our website uses Google Conversion Tracking. If you came to our website via an ad placed by Google, Google Adwords will place a cookie on your computer. The cookie for conversion tracking is saved when a user clicks on an ad placed by Google. These cookies expire after 30 days and do not serve to identify users personally. If the user visits certain pages of our website and the cookie has not yet expired, we and Google can see that the user has clicked on the ad and that they were referred to this website. Each Google AdWords customer receives a different cookie. In this way cookies cannot be traced via the websites of AdWords customers. The information gathered by means of the conversion cookies is used to generate conversion statistics for AdWords customers who have chosen to use conversion tracking. The customers are informed of the total number of users who have clicked on the ad and were referred to a site with a conversion tracking tag. However, they do not receive any information that would allow them to identify users personally.

If you do not wish to take part in tracking, you can refuse the saving of the tracking cookies, for example by setting your browser to reject automatic saving of cookies in general or by specifically blocking cookies from the domain “googleleadservices.com”.

Please note that if you do not wish data to be gathered, you must not delete the opt-out cookies. If you have cleared all the cookies in your browser, you will have to load the opt-out cookie again.

Use of Google Remarketing

This website uses the remarketing function of Google Inc. The function serves to present interests-based ads to website visitors within the Google advertising network. A so-called “cookie” is saved in the website visitor’s browser and it then enables the visitor to be recognized when they visit other websites that belong to the Google advertising network. On these websites it is then possible to present ads related to the topics of websites which the user visited previously and that use the Google remarketing function.

According to Google’s own information, the company does not gather any personal data in the course of this process. However, if you wish to opt out of the Google remarketing function, you can inactivate it by choosing the appropriate settings under http://www.google.com/settings/ads. Alternatively, you can deactivate the use of cookies for interests-based advertising via the Advertising Network Initiative by following the instructions at http://www.networkadvertising.org/managing/opt_out.asp.

We reserve the right to amend this data protection statement from time to time in order to ensure that it complies with the current legal requirements or in order to reflect changes in our services, for example if new services are introduced. If you visit the website again after the publication of a new version of the data protection agreement, that new version applies to your visit.
