Joh. Johannson Coffee is Norway’s leading coffee roaster and has set new standards in sustainable industrial building with their new factory. The production process is powered 100% by renewable energy and emits 85% less CO₂ than before. The building is completely made of wood and is designed to allow for future expansion of the production and energy generation. The 6,780 m² roof made out of 80 cm-high Kiesteg elements has a generous load reserve for future expansion of the solar plant. The new factory is an expression of the company’s commitment to social responsibility and sustainability.
