A-NOBIS make outstanding sparkling wines and the new winery building is a perfect expression of their vision. Built completely of Austrian wood, it has a square atrium that opens to the sky through a round oculus in the middle of the Kielsteg roof. The Kielsteg construction, using elements 33 cm high, also forms a projecting roof around the outside of the building, with a total area of 2,634 m2. A wood of 3,000 trees has been planted around the winery. The green roof also has photovoltaic solar panels that power the building.
Precise prefabrication of customized parts made the installation process quick and simple.
The wooden surface of the elements plays a strong role in the architectural composition.
